The photo below was taken last week with the artisans at Puca Urquillo Bora in the Ampiyacu River area. I'm off to Chino on the Tahuayo River today to visit the artisans who make the beautiful chambira baskets. Yully and 20 other artisans will arrive on Thursday for our next Artisan Leadership Program workshop. This one will focus on natural resource management so we'll spend a few days going into fields and forests to help the artisans learn how to inventory and use their resources as efficiently as possible.
