This Gift Card can be redeemed for any of the fair-trade crafts at the Amazon Forest Store. These crafts are hand-made by native and campesino artisans from the Peruvian Amazon in cooperation with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology.
This card is truly a way to give gifts that give back. CACE is a non-profit organization that helps empower over 200 artisans in the Peruvian Amazon to create sustainable livelihoods, promote forest conservation and strengthen their communities.

Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
