Events Calendar

Amazon Ecology sells crafts made by its partners from the Peruvian Amazon at festivals, fairs, conferences, organization meetings, and events in homes.  Some events are open free to the public while some require paying admission or receiving an invitation to the event.  


Please contact us if you have questions about any of these events, would like to volunteer at an event or sponsor a presentation and/or craft sale in your home or with your group.

Baltimore Bird Club Monthly Meeting

Campbell Plowden, Amazon Ecology Executive Director will give a presentation about the group's work in the Peruvian Amazon.  The presentation will be followed with a sale of crafts made by the group's partner artisans.

Location: Cylburn Arboretum, 4915 Greenspring Ave, Baltimore, MD 21209

Admission: Free Admission

Volunteer: Volunteers are needed to help set up the craft sale contact us if you are interested.

Presentations Outreach

Amazon Ecology founder Dr. Campbell Plowden does presentations about our work in person and online to schools, churches, clubs, community groups, companies, non-profit groups, scientific organizations and gatherings in private homes. 

These presentations can be customized to meet educational and/or fundraising goals including a display and sale of crafts made by our partners from Peru.
