Crocheted Black, Green & Red Purse. Clasp & Double Strap, bag made in Peruvian Amazon
These hand crocheted purses, with clasp, double straps and reinforced base, were designed and made by a native artisan from the Peruvian Amazon, with natural and durable chambira palm fiber, from plants grown naturally and sustainably. These purses are functional for everyday use, they are roomy, opaque and very durable, and have an oblong, flat base made also of durable chambira palm fiber. They are black, red and green. The comfortable straps are approximately 1.5" wide by 27" long and the purse measures 8" to 9" by 10"-11". The flat, oblong base is 8" x 3".

Support native artisans & rainforest in the Amazon
Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
