CACE has learned to sustainably harvest copal resin and distill it to produce a high value essential oil. This will help forest people in the Peruvian Amazon a way to make money from the forest without harming it. Please help the Center for Amazon Community Ecology support native artisans in Peru on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29 at www.AmazonAlive.net. The Gates Foundation will provide a 50% match to donations made to us through GlobalGiving on that day as long as matching funds last. The clock starts at midnight on Nov. 29. Thanks for your support.
