Helping artisans isn't just about improving their weaving skills - it's also important to help them build trust between them and us. Please help the Center for Amazon Community Ecology support native artisans in Peru on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29 at www.AmazonAlive.net. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will provide a 50% match to donations made to us through GlobalGiving on that day. The photo below was taken during the first day of the Artisan Leadership Program that we organized with our partner NGO Minga Peru in late October.
