These unique fair-trade ornaments represent the blue morpho, scarlet peacock and green urania - all classic and colorful butterflies from the Amazon rainforest. Any one of them will look great hanging on your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror or adding a distinctive companion to your favorite hat.
These ornaments are handmade by Peruvian Amazon artisans from natural chambira palm fiber. The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru.
These ornaments were made by an artisan from the town of Jenaro Herrera and Bora artisans from the Ampiyacu River area. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and village of the artisan who made it and the plants used to make it.
