AMERICAN ROBIN - FAIR TRADE CHRISTMAS TREE BIRD ORNAMENT - WOVEN BY PERUVIAN AMAZON ARTISAN

This unique fair-trade ornament represents the American robin - the ubiquitous singer seen and heard throughout eastern North America.  It will look great hanging on your Christmas tree, rear-view mirror or adding a colorful touch to another part of your home.

We have two models of the robin available now.  The regular model has the classic red breast with greyish wings and tail.  We also have a model with pale lavender wings and tail.  Yep, we goofed with that one so it's on sale until they sell out.

This ornament was woven with chambira palm fiber by a native Amazon artisan. The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. These bird ornaments were made artisans from the villages of Amazonas, San Francisco, and Puerto Miguel on the Maranon River.

Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and home of the artisan who made it and the plants used to make it. Please remember that each ornament is hand-made so the exact design may vary from the photo of this model.
