Polished ungurahui and cerebro palm seed bracelets made by Peruvian Amazon artisan
This natural boho-style bracelet will show your connection to the Amazon rainforest. The bracelet features large seeds from the ungurahui and cerebro palm trees - each has a unique mottled pattern. The seeds are strung on a stretch chord with tiny black bead spacers so it can be easily over or removed from a wrist.
The bracelet was made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.
Model: BR207 (ungurahui seed); BR208 (cerebro seed)
Support native artisans & rainforest in the Amazon
Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
