This elegant design of a chambira palm fiber hot pad (trivet) and center piece is based on a traditional Bora pattern element called a coco (diamond shape) made by artisans from the village of Brillo Nuevo on the Ampiyacu River. Its embroidered coco fushia figures contrast beautifully with the black background colored with natural plant dyes. Please remember that each item is hand-made and may vary somewhat from the photo of its model. This craft comes in two sizes that make beautiful hot pads, trivets or placemats.
