Ayahuasca vine and tiger eye macrame necklace
These elegant boho-style necklaces feature a lacquered cross-section of the ayahuasca vine above a pendant of tiger eye stone embedded in a macrame waxed thread necklace. Ayahuasca is used by many Amazon shamans in traditional ceremonies. These necklaces were made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.
The necklace features a golden tiger eye stone in two general sizes. The small size features an oval stone (5/8 x 7/8") with one pair of small round stones above the ayahuasca. The medium size round (1" dia.) stone necklace features two pairs of small round stones above the ayahuasca. Each necklace has a black or beige waxed twine with two knots that allow easy adjustment of the length to fit it over your head and then tighten.
Please remember that each piece is unique so the pattern may vary from the one featured in this product's main photo.

Support native artisans & rainforest in the Amazon
Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
