Caña flecha wrap-a-around spiral bracelet
This fun boho-style bracelet immediately conveys the casual and exotic feeling of the tropics. The geometric patterns are woven from caña flecha - the cane that is named for the long stiff plant whose stems are made into arrows by traditional Amazon hunters. The inner coil is made of strong and flexible resin which allows the bracelet to be easily wrapped around your wrist. The classic model is black and white; other models feature contrasting colors.
The bracelet comes from an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.
Model: BR1801010 (black and white); BR18041700, BR1803760, BR1801020, BR1804180
Support native artisans & rainforest in the Amazon
Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
