These unique earrings will connect you with the Amazon River like no other craft because artisans have carved them from the scale of the large iconic paiche fish.

These earrings are made by expert artisans from Iquitos who have worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for more than ten years.  The French hooks are made with non-allergenic material.

Support native artisans
& rainforest in the Amazon

Amazon forest loss is driving species to extinction, aggravating global warming, and robbing people of unique medicines, foods and other benefits. Cutting and burning forests is often more profitable than conserving them, so some native communities in northern Peru have illegally logged and grown coca and other cash-crops to escape poverty.
