These unique fair-trade decoration represent two species of iconic macaws from the Amazon. They were all carved by an artisan from the community of Chino on the Tahuayo River. They stand 4.5 inches tall and will keep you company (without any mess) on any table or shelf.
The sale of these ornaments supports forest conservation and helps meet local needs in traditional communities in Peru. Each ornament comes with a tag listing the name and home of the artisan who made it and the plant used to make it. The larger model will look great on your table or bookcase.
