“Make a Bird” Retail Display Video

It follows the journey of a handcrafted chambira goldfinch from the harvesting of chambira palm fiber in the Peruvian Amazon through fiber preparation, natural dyeing, and the final weaving of the bird ornament by skilled Indigenous artisans.

The video gives viewers a clear, engaging look at the people, materials, and care behind Amazon Ecology’s ornaments. It shows that these pieces are not mass-produced decorations, but fair trade crafts rooted in cultural knowledge, creativity, sustainable resource use, and the close relationship between Amazonian communities and the forest.
