River pearl necklace from the Peruvian Amazon

River pearl necklace. This necklace with 70 naturally white river pearls with their unique shape is simple and elegant.  The bottom part of the necklace is interlaced with small metal beads. 

This was made by an artisan who lived in Iquitos - the gateway city to the Peruvian Amazon for many years.
