Silver Wire Earrings with Fun Designs

These fun, lightweight earrings feature silver wire complemented with beads of small huayruru seeds.  Huayruru is a distinct group of tropical trees in the bean family which usually have naturally two-tone orange and black seeds.  They are considered good luck throughout most of the Amazon, but remember these seeds are not edible. 

These earrings are made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.  The French hooks are made with non-allergenic material.
